In my bachelor's dissertation, I did research on Alterheden’s Rhubarb Factory’s graphic profile. The focus was on making a better design from what already existed. Main concept revolver around tags on the jam, marmalade, juice packaging the company already had. I wanted to make them more true to who the brand is and have a graphic profile that matches the products inside the jars. The products are handmade and the love they put in them was something I wanted to show.
What I learned from the project is the importance of planning and having good research. That asking friends and colleagues is good to get an outside view of what you are doing.
